Studio Fuel: Jordan, Jesse, GO!

According to their website, JJGO! is “a freewheeling comedy podcast about life in your twenties and everything else. Your hosts areĀ Jesse Thorn, “America’s Radio Sweetheart,” andĀ Jordan Morris, “Boy Detective.”
I can safely say this is the staple podcast of my weekly line-up. The general optimism and joyful banter between these two is truly genuine, and is a refreshing antidote to the typical ironic, snarky humor than seems to be the norm amongst those of us in our 20’s. Thorn is also the host of The Sound of Young America, which is carried by PRI into some Public Radio stations around the country (WHYY among them).

It’s happened, its happened!!
After much anticipation from hoards of New Sincerity dorks world-wide, the Maximum Fun Store has opened. Show your something-something love to the world with the happy squid, the much-loved Maximum Fun Rocket-ship, or get your party on with a game of Moustache TV.

Studio Fuel: Wiretap with Jonathan Goldstein
Wiretap is surprisingly under-heard this side of the border. Many might recognize Goldstein from his occasional stints as a performer on This American Life, which borrows heavily from Wiretap’s format (or vice-versa?). This is pure Studio Fuel. After many years of having to steal this off of pirate podcast sights, the CBC recently released an official podcast feed. Try it out. If you love Ira Glass, you’ll love this.
